FOUR CALENDAR
From earth and water, Valentin Lopez is in search of precious gems and treasures to instill a sense of wonder. Lifelong interests in agriculture and biology took root very early in their life, which continues to inform the work, and is reflected in the devotion to hyperlocal produce and foraged ingredients.
Menus are dictated by the season, with the bounty of our nearby ocean and rivers complimenting the work of local farmers. There is a focus on the weaving together of techniques and ingredients from Mexico, Japan, Italy, and France.
Four Calendar is based out of Santa Cruz, a sleepy little beach town that sits neatly between Big Sur and San Francisco.
